We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure and Security Engineer to oversee the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and support teams in the business. You will manage the hardware, software, and cloud systems in accordance with established change control procedures. Additionally, you will play a key role in delivering technical projects, upgrades, and implementations while providing final escalation support for business users and IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure and security at all levels
- Manage the virtualized environment, including VMWare and vCenter Server
- Handle Windows Server environment, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and WSUS
- Manage the Azure environment, including Virtual Machines, Storage, and Networking
- Monitor and maintain the network environment, including Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues at all levels
- Provide technical support
Personal Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering
- Strong understanding of VMWare, Windows Server, Domain, Azure and Networking
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of ISO procedures
Technical Skills:
- Cisco, LAN/WAN
- Windows Server
- Azure
- CISSP - Desirable not Essential
- Virtualisation - VMWare
- Automation Procedures
