Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Location: Reading (hybird) X2 days in Office Department: Group Finance TeamSalary: £40,000 - £50,000

I'm partnering with a global power solutions manufacturing company near Reading to recruit a Group FP&A Analyst for their central function. In this role, you'll be a key part of the financial performance team, supporting forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. You'll collaborate with finance and non-finance teams across various business divisions, providing critical insights to drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in financial reporting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making.
  • Analyze financial performance by monitoring key metrics, trends, and variances.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting processes, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
  • 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Team player with a proactive and results-driven approach.
