About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join a well-established independent estate agency in Reading as a Sales Progressor. You'll be responsible for managing a busy pipeline of 60+ resale transactions, ensuring sales complete smoothly and efficiently. This role suits an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident overseeing large case volumes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and progress 60+ residential resale sales files at any one time
- Act as the main point of contact for buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage brokers, and agents
- Provide regular updates to all parties, ensuring excellent client care
- Proactively handle and resolve issues to prevent delays and fall-throughs
- Keep CRM systems updated with accurate case notes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and property industry regulations
- Work closely with the sales team to monitor pipeline progress and flag any risks
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sales Progressor in residential resale (not new build)
- Proven ability to manage large caseloads (60+ files)
- Strong understanding of the property sales process
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised with sharp attention to detail
- Calm under pressure, proactive, and able to navigate complex cases
- Competent with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Package & Benefits
- Basic Salary: 35,000
- Realistic OTE: 45,000+ (performance-based bonuses)
- Location: Reading (Office-based role)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
