Audit Manager - Corporate AuditLocation: Reading Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits Working Hours: Full-time, flexible working options available

We are partnering with a leading national audit and advisory firm, with a strong local presence and global reach, to find an ambitious Audit Manager to join their growing Reading office. The Role

As an Audit Manager, you will lead teams on corporate audit assignments from planning through completion, maintaining direct contact with clients and ensuring high standards of service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the end-to-end audit process for a variety of corporate clients within agreed budgets and timelines- Acting as the primary client contact during fieldwork and overseeing follow-up post-assignment- Reviewing statutory financial statements and conducting technical research as required- Managing and mentoring junior team members, supporting their development and providing on-the-job training- Ensuring compliance with all deadlines and proactively addressing potential issues in each audit assignment- Identifying opportunities to connect clients with other services provided by the firm- Monitoring work in progress and handling client billing for assignments

About You

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to demonstrate leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams. You will be skilled in building client relationships and possess strong technical knowledge. Specific qualifications and skills include:

- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification- Proficiency with audit systems and software, such as Excel and CCH- Experience managing audits of complex corporate entities and group structures, including liaising with component auditors- Strong knowledge of business cycle controls and ability to provide practical, proactive business advice- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
