Are you an experienced Audit Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a thriving independent firm of chartered accountants in Reading, serving a diverse range of clients across various sectors.
Position: Audit Manager Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion, overseeing people, delivery, budgets, and billing.
- Client Management: Support Partners by managing a client base, often acting as the primary point of contact.
- Team Development: Take a leadership role in managing department resources and workflow, serving as a role model for the team.
- Client Relationships: Establish strong and successful relationships with clients through effective communication.
- Team Support: Motivate and assist in supervising and training junior team members.
- Professional Development: Continue developing your skillset and knowledge through self-study supported by our in-house training and development programme.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Engage in ad-hoc project work as required.
- Qualifications: ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 4 years' experience in practice.
- Experience: Previous experience operating at Assistant Manager/Manager level.
- Hands-on Approach: Ability to take a hands-on approach.
- Client Base: Experience working with SME/owner-managed businesses.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
