We are searching for a driven and talented professional to join our client’s busy Transactions team. This opportunity provides hands-on experience across all aspects of the Corporate Finance transaction lifecycle, contributing to high-value deals and delivering exceptional results.

Working in the Berkshire office 2 days minimum a week, you will have mentors with 'Big 4’ backgrounds and excellent career development potential. Our client has recently won a respected National Award for being one of the best places to work in the UK!

Key Responsibilities:

  • With full training provided, you will quickly develop a deep understanding of the unique Corporate Finance services offered and commercial considerations surrounding transactions

  • Maintain awareness of market trends, industry conditions, and general business environments

  • Research and analyse financial, industry, and company data to identify market opportunities and provide strategic insights

  • Support business development through the preparation of high-quality presentations, proposals, and research on potential acquirers and market valuation metrics

  • Prepare client marketing materials, including information memoranda, business plans, and compelling presentations

  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and working capital assessments, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness

Requirements:

  • University degree and relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA). Fully qualified is ideal

  • Accountancy experience from Corporate Finance, Audit or Assurance

  • A proactive and inquisitive mindset, coupled with strong problem-solving and sound judgment skills

  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident engaging with clients and stakeholders

  • Driver with own vehicle essential
