FINANCE DIRECTOR - FAST GROWTH PE REAL ESTATE GROUP

Due to an incredible growth story, continued investment from some of the largest PE houses in the UK and a driven, ambitious CEO they now seek to recruit a hands on "top spot" to create, oversee and direct an efficient controls function, drive process and systems improvements including an imminent ERP upgrade, be the strategic partner to the leadership team and to manage the relationships with their investor group.Our client would ideal look for a tenured Finance Director / CFO with PE exposure and an understanding of real estate / commercial construction projects.
Duties:
- Provision of strategic financial guidance to the CEO to ensure that business objectives are met.
- Delivery of insightful and accurate management, investor, and board reporting packs.
- Manage investor relations.
- Manage audit process and audit relationship.
- Manage external stakeholder relationships.
- Analysis of market trends and competitors.
- Supervise, manage, and develop the finance team.
- Final review and approval of quarterly financials and other reporting packs.
- Implementation of new finance systems.
- Develop and monitor the operations budget to ensure that financial targets are met.
- Consistent review of overall KPI's and trends so that valuable insights can be delivered to the management team.
- Implementation of processes designed to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Maintenance of sound segregation of duties.
- Documentation and enhancement of corporate governance framework.
- VAT and tax structuring.
- Legal compliance.
- Ensuring that the business is adequately insured and maintaining insurance register.
- Bank administrator cash flow and treasury management - including working capital optimization and liquidity management.
- Assess and secure appropriate funding options (e.g. debt, equity).
- Oversight of third-party service providers.
- As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility commitment, all employees are required to spend 1% of their working time volunteering/raising funds for chosen/local charities. This time is paid.

- A highly competitive base salary of between £120,000 and £132,000 P/A based on experience
