Partner Financial is working with a rapidly growing SME services company that is embarking on an exciting phase of expansion through strategic acquisitions. To support this growth, they are seeking a Finance Manager who can provide valuable insights by delivering accurate and timely financial data that will drive informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller and play a crucial role in all facets of compliance and financial reporting. They should be passionate about contributing to the company's growth and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional eager to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day activity of the Finance team, including the month-end process.
  • Leading month-end management accounts, budget control, VAT returns, Cash, AP & AR, and other ad-hoc projects that arise.
  • Working with the Financial Controller to deploy new strategic initiatives for the business.
  • Supporting with the implementation of new process and systems
  • Providing support in the analysis of results and presenting them to senior stakeholders and the to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Supporting on negotiations with suppliers and outsourced providers
  • Getting involved with various ad-hoc tasks throughout the department and always seeking to improve processes where possible.

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience in a high-growth SME environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional management & financial accounting skills with the ability to work within a small function with high transaction volumes.
  • Highly organised, with a strong track record of meeting frequent, tight deadlines.
