Our client is a highly acquisitive PE backed business based in central Reading who is seeking to hire a Financial Reporting Manager. The role will suit a first or second move from practice and someone who is 18/36 months post ACA/ACCA qualification. The role role will offer someone great visibility to all aspects of the Group鈥檚 technical accounting, acquisition due diligence, reporting and integration, and external and regulatory financial reporting. Responsibilities:路 Completing the monthly and yearly consolidation process, statutory accounting and other group reporting路 Providing key data for corporation tax reporting路 Full involvement in the external audit process, including leading discussions with auditors and other advisors and anticipating/resolving queries arising路 Assisting with financial and tax due diligence on potential acquisitions路 Reviewing completion accounts and determining final payments required, as well as ongoing monitoring and calculation of forecast contingent payments路 Production of technical papers detailing accounting treatment for any one off or complex accounting issues arising路 Financial reporting to regulators for regulated entities within the group路 Assisting with integrating the finance functions of acquired companies路 Assisting with company hive ups and simplification of group structures路 Assisting with identifying, documenting and implementing opportunities for process improvements within the finance team鈥檚 systems and controls路 Ongoing maintenance of group accounting manual for new standards and accounting requirements.A salary of 拢68,000-拢71,000 is on offer plus 8% bonus and benefits
