Reed Finance are pleased to be working exclusively with a membership not for profit organisation based in Reading to recruit a new Head of Finance.

This organisation are specialists in their field and have exciting plans to further develop their specialist knowledge across other sectors as well as expand internationally - this really is an exciting time to join them and be a key part of this journey!

This role requires someone with experience working in a charitable organisation but bring a commercial mindset and natural commercial acumen to every situation.

The role will involve -

  • Developing a forward-looking financial strategy for the Group, including the charitable company and a Special Purpose Vehicle for non-core work/income
  • Management of the Finance team and oversight of the day-to-day financial management
  • Producing and presenting the annual budget and forecasts to the Executive Leadership Team and the Management Committee 
  • Producing relevant financial reporting and analysis to allow effective decision making
  • Monitoring cash flow and providing proactive advice
  • Supporting the Chief Operating Officer and directors in the delivery of their individual services and development of new income streams
  • Continuously improving Finance processes

This is a full time role offering a salary of circa £75-80k depending on experience plus company benefits 30 days leave and very flexible hybrid working (min 1 or 2 days in the office pw).
