HEAD OF FINANCE - HIGH TECH MANUFACTURING - READINGRobert half are the exclusive recruitment partner to a fast growing, investor backed high tech manufacturing business that due to recent promotion, are seeking a confident, technically proficient and commercially focused Head of finance to coordinate the activities of 2 direct and 5 indirect reports.
This role would suit a post qualified accountant that is looking to one day be a Finance Director, has understanding and exposure to a manufacturing environment and is happy with 4 days in office per week. On offer is a base of up to £90k plus car and bonus.
Duties:
- Lead the Finance team's preparation of the monthly actuals and ensure timely submission into Group
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of Quarterly and Full Year requests and disclosures for group reporting purposes
- Own & manage quarterly presentation pack collation
- Manage and co-prepare annual budgeting process and five year plan
- Business partner with Business Unit Managers and other key stakeholders
- Supervise and manage Project Accountant and Finance Manager, overseeing wider finance team activities
- Maintain a strong control environment through Company policy adherence and drive implementation of process improvements and efficiencies
- Support Value Driver reporting and initiatives
- Play an active role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives, business change programs and other projects
- Play a role in shaping the direction of ERP implementation
- Support VP Finance in shaping finance department and building a high performing team
- Support the Finance Team and Business with any ad-hoc duties/projects
Benefits:
- A highly competitive base salary of between £80,000 and £90,000 P/A based on experience
- A car allowance of £7,700 P/A
- A performance related bonus of up to 15%
