We are helping such a fun and progressive company hire an Interim AP Manager to lead the division and team.

We are looking for a dynamic AP expert who has experience of implementing change, driving transformation and setting up a best in class function.

Are you ready to lead a dynamic Accounts Payable (AP) team dedicated to service excellence? We're seeking a proactive leader to drive transformational improvements across our AP

systems, processes, and policies.

As Interim AP Manager, you will:

  • Lead Service Excellence: Oversee AP operations focused on internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and policy compliance.
  • Drive Transformation: Spearhead improvements to AP systems and processes to enhance efficiency and strengthen control environments, minimizing process exceptions.
  • Collaborate for Success: Engage with business units and suppliers to implement and embed changes effectively, fostering seamless integration.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain up-to-date records, manage invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations in line with policies and procedures.
  • Support Operational Excellence: Assist in developing best purchasing practices and business processes, including PO raising, to optimize compliance and efficiency.
  • Reporting and Training: Develop SLAs, establish robust reporting mechanisms, and conduct training to address process gaps and ensure team readiness.
  • Audit and Compliance: Support audit activities, ensuring controls are effective and compliance requirements are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of automation and data led functions. Digital Scanning etc.
  • Knowledge of complicated customers - Prepaid, Capitalised, Expensed etc.
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and deliver results.
  • Deep understanding of AP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and process optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of audit and compliance practices related to AP operations.

Salary

£300 per day or an equivalent FTC Salary.
