An exciting interim opportunity has opened up for a Finance Manager with an established SME manufacturing business based near Reading.

As Finance Manager, you'll take the lead in the finance department, ensuring period close runs smoothly and all key deadlines are met - from month-end and year-end, to VAT returns and reconciliations. Main tasks will include:

- Managing the day-to-day activities of the finance team (lead a team of 5) - Preparing management accounts and reports- Overseeing the annual financial audit- Providing insight into performance trends, identifying risks and opportunities- Driving improvements to financial processes and controls

We’re keen to hear from candidates with:- Full ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent experience (QBE)- Previous experience in SMEs, ideally within a manufacturing setting- Immediate or short term availability- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or
