Management Accounting Lead needed for a well-known household brand based in Reading!
Up to £70,000 + Bonus and Benefits, dependant on experience
Stanton House are partnering with a well recognised household brand to hire a Management Accounting Lead. The company are deeply involved in providing innovative solutions across various industries, focusing on delivering sustainable and profitable business outcomes. The position is designed for someone to be able to lead the management accounting, ensuring accurate financial planning and reporting. You will work closely with various departments to provide valuable financial insights that will drive strategic business decisions. The successful candidate will play an integral part in supporting their mission to optimise financial performance and facilitate informed decision making across the organisation
In order to succeed in this role;
- Must be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven track record of adding value within an FP&A function
- A strong commercial acumen and demonstrable business partnering experience whereby you can build strong, professional relationships across the business and influence thinking across all levels of the business
- Excellent analytical skills to be able to interpret financial results, spotting trends and recommendations
- Be a self-starter who is driven and able to identify improvement ideas and follow through on implementing them.
- Demonstrate strong Excel skills. Experience with Hyperion and SAP would be beneficial
Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to;
- Lead and manage the management accounting process to deliver accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance within financial regulations and standards
- Providing high-quality reporting, analysis, and commentary to support decision-making and forecasting.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- Provide commercial insight and challenge to the business units strategy and initiatives
- A key decision making in implementing new strategies and procedures
