Day rate - £400-£450 inside IR35

Stanton House is working with a well-known Global manufacturing business who is looking for R2R Section Manager to drive their end to end process improvements and be responsible for key record to report activities to ensure timely and accurate month end close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Close: Manage month-end timetables, ensuring clear communication of deadlines. Ensure accurate revenue recognition under IFRS 15, and accurate reporting of COGS, Inventory, Transfer Pricing, and Lease accounting under IFRS 16. Approve manual entries and review balance sheet substantiation activities.
- Functional Transition Support: Assist the Pan European R2R process owner in transitioning to a functional organization. Support the transition of R2R activities within HME & HME-UK and manage month-end close activities.
- Shared Service Centre Management: Supervise Shared Service Centre teams to ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities. Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements.
- Process Support and Improvement: Resolve ongoing issues and drive process improvements within month-end close processes. Provide expertise to European finance improvement initiatives.
- Data Quality: Enhance data quality to improve reporting and month-end processes. Act as the SME for data quality impacts of system changes.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to Governance and Compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX). Keep processes up to date, compliant, and documented.
- Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as a recognized Finance process expert.
- Team Management: Manage the R2R Specialist, providing clear objectives, coaching, and mentoring.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Experience in a financial control environment.
- Essential IFRS accounting knowledge.
- Experience managing activities provided by a finance shared service provider.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment, preferably in Europe.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, quickly establishing credibility with stakeholders.
