Your role will involve preparing detailed financial plans, supporting advisors with research, ensuring compliance, and staying updated on market trends. Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining information on a client’s existing financial arrangements and conducting analysis on this. Communicate effectively with the relevant Adviser throughout this process.
  • Communicate with clients to collect essential financial information, understand their goals, and clarify any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Drafting detailed letters and reports summarising financial plans, investment performance, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the advisory team to ensure the accuracy and suitability of financial plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s advice process and framework.
  • Support the implementation of financial plans by coordinating with relevant Platforms.
  • Liaising with product providers and staying updated on new products and developments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing support and addressing enquiries as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Organise and maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, including financial plans, reports, and correspondence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Paraplanner role within the financial services industry, showcasing a strong understanding of financial planning processes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial plans and reports.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and analyse financial data to support the development of comprehensive financial plans.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members, and to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Strong knowledge of investment and pension products, financial markets, and regulatory requirements
  • Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning preferred, but not necessary. Candidates working towards this qualification are also encouraged to apply.
