Concept are seeking a either a skilled Production Print Technical Specialist or a skilled Photocopier engineer interested in upskilling to PP . Your aim will be to deliver exceptional service and support to our customers while maintaining field efficiencies and driving profitability. This role involves working in a dynamic and challenging environment within the Industrial Print sector, requiring technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Respond to call-outs with professionalism and efficiency, diagnose and resolve technical faults, and implement necessary technical modifications. This may involve work outside standard office hours, national travel, and occasional overnight stays.
  • Communication: Act as a key communication channel between customers, the Service Team, and other areas of the business to ensure a seamless service experience.
  • Technical Support: Provide the highest level of service by resolving technical issues promptly and accurately, minimizing machine downtime.
  • Training: Deliver technical advice and training to customers, helping them maximize the full capabilities of their installed devices.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Perform all repairs and maintenance in a safe manner, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reporting and paperwork requirements.
  • Technology Utilization: Effectively utilize technology tools, such as laptops, to access technical documentation, continuously improving service delivery.
  • Parts Management: Maintain clear communication regarding on-site parts and consumables, advising customers to ensure readiness and minimize operational disruptions.

The candidate:

  • Have technical expertise and a solutions-driven mindset to tackle complex challenges in the commercial or industrial print environment.
  • Possess strong English language skills for effective communication both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work flexibly, including outside standard hours, as required.
