Building Performance Consultant

This is a great opportunity to join a multidisciplined consultancy who specialise in providing engineering and energy compliance services to the built environment. They are looking for a Building Performance Consultant to join their sustainability team in their Reading offices.

Role responsibilities for a Building Performance Consultant include:

  • Use IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and thermal analysis to optimise the building performance of projects
  • Undertake site visits and produce EPCs for residential and commercial projects
  • Produce Part O assessments that will be in line with CIBSE TM52 and TM59 guidelines
  • Provide clients with Net-Zero strategies and solutions to help minimise their projects environmental impact

The ideal Building Performance Consultant will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant role within the construction industry
  • Relevant degree within an environmental science, engineering, or architectural field
  • Have a level 5 IES Assessor qualification and is proficient with the software in regard to building performance
  • Experience delivering EPCs for commercial projects with an energy assessor qualification such as a NDEA
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
