Our client is looking for an Inventor CAD Manager on a contracting basis, the offices would be based within the Reading area and would be offering hybrid working with 2/3 days on site and the rest working from home. The opportunity would be working within the Nuclear Industry. The contract would be a 6-month rolling contract Inside of IR35 with rates that are commensurate with your experience.
The client would be looking for candidates with Significant experience of digital integration of Mechanical CAD deliverables with other discipline systems as well as an awareness of using date visualisation software like Power BI.
Applicants’ must have an advanced knowledge of the following: Modelling principals, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Other software packages, common date environment and electronic date management systems such as Vault and Teamcenter.
The candidates’ main objectives within this position would be the development and implementation of replacement PDM/PLM data management software packages as well as the development and implementation of Mechanical CAD standards that fall in line with the clients’ requirements.
Candidates must be eligible for Security clearance if they do not have it already, as the project progresses the candidate may potentially have to acquire DV clearance, all candidates must be Sole British Nationals and have the right to work already established within the UK.
