Cost Engineer

Nonstop are currently recruiting for a Cost Engineer to join one of the Sunday times Best Companies to work for within the Public Sector, so you will have a huge exposure to a network of people where you will gain more knowledge and develop your career.

This is a superb opportunity for someone wanting to work within the Nuclear Environment which is highly regulated. Initially a 15 month contract. (Fully remote!! - saving you time and money)

As a Cost Engineer you will provide input to Accruals, Journals, Forecasting, Understanding of cost & schedule

However we are not looking for Accountants for this role.

Supporting the preparation, monitoring and control of forecasts and budgets for specified projects, including change control.

Support detailed SPI, CPI variance analysis and root cause analysis, including input to the narrative, recommendations & recovery planning in accordance with monthly reporting timescales.

Essential Skills

* Success in a Project Controls environment or similar Cost role on a major construction project
* Adept with tech such as Cost tools, Excel, and IT
* Building rapport and creating great relationships
* Motivating and building teams

Desirable
* Professionally qualified with chartered or equivalent status

An ACTIVE CLEARANCE is REQUIRED
