Our client offers expert advice, services and support to growers to improve their farm business and practices and is looking for a Crop Applications Advisor to join them.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You'll be a key contact for customers to come to you with queries and for fertiliser discussions.
  • Gathering key information from them, for the processing of their fertiliser recommendations.
  • Responding to, monitoring and resolving customer and sales team enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Confidently applying technical knowledge to support customers.
  • Use of MS Office packages to store and format data.
  • Maintaining our customer database and company CRM system.

About You:

  • Demonstrate an ability to provide good customer service.
  • Possess a confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, making decisions, managing own workload and time, whilst developing effective and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • A working knowledge of the use of fertilisers in arable farming with a practical knowledge of the use of RB209 Nutrient Management Guide would be desirable.
  • Ideally FACTS qualified although training can be provided.
  • Flexible approach to work and managing changing priorities.
