About the RoleWe are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join the Supply Chain team. As the linchpin of the team, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring consistent product availability while managing inventory levels efficiently. This position involves close collaboration with various internal teams—sales, buying, accounts, marketing, and distribution—to deliver best-in-class customer availability.

In this role, you’ll also be responsible for upholding supplier performance in line with OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) measures and supplier KPIs.

Key ResponsibilitiesStock Availability: Ensure stock availability targets are met for assigned categories within budgeted inventory levels.Stock Replenishment: Manage stock replenishment, including order placement, PO accuracy, and forecasting error ratio reviews via Optimiza.System Administration: Use Sage to manage order queries efficiently and keep data up-to-date.Supplier Performance: Improve supplier lead times and reduce operational defects through CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment).Customer Service: Apply a customer-centric approach to support availability and minimize unproductive inventory.Decision Making: Influence decisions that maximize availability and optimize stock management.Process Improvements: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance stock efficiency and improve purchasing and supplier management workflows.Stock Management: Oversee the return process for excess and faulty stock.Person SpecificationAttention to Detail: High accuracy and thoroughness, with an understanding of the need for timely task completion.Teamwork: Proven ability to build effective relationships and respond promptly to team requests.Initiative: Proactive in managing time and daily objectives, and open to taking on additional responsibilities.Flexibility: Adaptable to changes in supply chain processes, with a supportive approach to team goals.Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and Word, with solid numeracy and literacy skills.Qualifications & ExperienceEssential: Prior experience in demand planning or supply chain management.Desirable: Familiarity with demand planning software, particularly Optimiza.If you’re ready to bring your demand planning expertise to a supportive, fast-paced team, apply today!
