General OperativeLocation: Burghfield, BerkshireSalary: £30,420 + BonusesOverview:Due to continued expansion, our client is currently looking to recruit a General Operative for their busy site just outside of Burghfield.This role will involve carrying out a variety of manual roles to ensure effective and smooth operation of the site. Due to the nature of this work it will involve heavy lifting and the successful candidate will be required to work outside throughout the year.Applications from former military candidates are actively encouraged however all applicants will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Moving and re-positioning stock around the depot using hand and mechanical means.
- Ensuring stock is located in the correct areas ready for dispatch.
- Maintaining quality throughout all aspects of work by adhering to set standards.
- Ensuring the site Health and Safety guidelines are followed.
Essential:
- The candidate must be reliable and flexible.
- The candidate must have a 'can do' attitude.
- The candidate must be able to perform all responsibilities to a high standard.
- Training will be provided and therefore the successful candidate must be willing to learn new skills.
- Previous experience of driving telehandlers or forklifts is highly advantageous.
- Forklift experience (Not essential)
