- Manage a caseload of conveyancing matters
- Oversee the performance of the fee earning and administrative teams
- Ensure all cases comply with regulations, including CQS and SRA standards
- Provide excellent customer service and improve client relationships
- Set and monitor departmental and individual performance targets
- Lead business development to attract new clients and referrals
- Review staff performance and provide coaching, training, and feedback
- Manage operational systems, processes, and policies within the department
- Support senior management in delivering business strategy
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- At least 6 years’ experience in conveyancing
- Experience with freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, equity transfer, remortgages, and refinancing
- Strong leadership skills and team management experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks effectively
- A focus on quality, customer service, and continuous improvement
- Experience in performance and process management
