My client in Reading, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Technician to join their team. As a Master Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high standards of our dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults on a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and general servicing.
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
- Follow manufacturer's specifications and guidelines to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed, including labor hours and parts used.
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced technicians.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a qualified automotive technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
