We have a fantastic role to fill in Reading paying a basic salary up to £45,000 depending on experience and brand accreditations, with an uncapped and realistic OTE of £57,000. There’s plenty of earning potential with our client who will also guarantee bonus whilst you’re on annual leave or on training. If you’re a Vehicle Technician with an MOT Licence who is thinking about a new career move, then please read on. As a Vehicle Technician, you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, MOT’s, ordering relevant parts and completing the work to the highest of standards. They are also accountable for the highest level of repair and maintenance.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician that is looking for a role to progress their career and develop into a Senior and Master Technician.About the role of Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:

Completing MOT’s on customers vehicles
Completing major and minor repairs
Fault finding and fault diagnosis of cars
Using diagnostic tools to find faults and repair as necessary
Replacing parts and completing work where required
Working with other centre areas (Service, Parts, etc) and keeping all informed
Meeting or exceeding efficiency and productivity targets
Conducting road tests with customers
Light and full-service work

Experience Required to be a Vehicle Technician

Hold a valid NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalate
Hold a valid MOT licence – Essential
Have worked previously to efficiency & productivity targets
Take great care and pride in your work giving no return visits for customers
Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
