About the Role: This school are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and complete the work set by the teacher. This role is crucial in maintaining the continuity of education and supporting the learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher.
- Ensure students are engaged in the learning activities set by the teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide support to students where necessary.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is desirable.
