We are seeking a Weighbridge Operative to join our team at Theale, Reading for our client, Aggregate Industries.
Position: Weighbridge Operative- Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour, depending on experience
- Client: Aggregate Industries
- Location: Theale, Reading, RG7 5HH
- Shifts: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; Monday to Friday
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Duration: Long-term hire with potential for permanent employment
- Operating the weighbridge, ensuring accurate recording of vehicle weights
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and site staff to ensure efficient operations
- Completing necessary documentation and data entry for material movements
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety around the weighbridge area
- Assisting with general site administration and coordination
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Carrying out additional reasonable tasks as required
- Prior weighbridge experience OR strong customer service experience in a logistics/industrial setting
- Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach
- Basic IT and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
