Nexa Life Sciences are proud to be partnering with a MedTech company based in Berkshire who are looking for a Scrub Technician to join their laboratory team. Within this role you will get the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge lab environment where you will be directly involved in supporting teaching and research activities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry professionals and assisting with training events.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Building key relationships with internal and external parties to provide technical services to the laboratory
  • Lead in the set up of the laboratory facility for training purposes.
  • Prepare human tissue specimens for educational purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Human Tissue Act 2004.
  • Assist in the updating of SOP's, risk assessments and compliance documents to ensure all laboratory activities and facilities are maintained to HTA standards.
  • Completing technical duties are required including maintaining hygienic conditions, conducting maintenance checks, monitoring and organising resources.

Candidate Requirements include:

  • Practical experience in a technical or scientific role
  • Operating theatre experience or a background in anatomy would be highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of HTA regulations and best practices.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for medical education and laboratory excellence.
