What will I be doing as a Production Scheduler / Production Planner?
- As a Production Scheduler / Production Planner you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the manufactured stock levels
- You will negotiate the cost of materials and ensure it is purchased in the most cost-effective method
- You will ensure cost and trend analysis on the manufactured goods
- You will raise and process work and purchase orders
- You will ensure strong communication is kept within all departments i.e. Finance, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse and Production
- Any other general ad hoc duties where required
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills & experience
- You have previous experience within a manufacturing background
- You have an analytical approach with a strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the Sage manufacturing system is advantageous however isnt essential for this role
- You have strong communication and decision-making skills
