The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting a Principal Safety Specialist to join a Nuclear Defense client based in Aldermaston.
Essential:
- Use of hazard identification techniques, development of hazard and fault schedules
- Experience of undertaking nuclear hazard analysis (HAZAN):
- Design Basis Assessment Experience
- Unmitigated dose assessments to derive safety function classification.
- Derivation of classification of the required safety systems
- Understanding of types of protection methods and the substantiation of those required
- Experience of developing and delivering a nuclear safety case.
- Nuclear background - nuclear safety cases or nuclear safety assessments
- Valid DV clearance
