Job Summary:

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our growing care team. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them to maintain independence, dignity, and a high quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.

  • Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment (e.g., hoists, walking aids).

  • Support with medication administration in line with care plans and policies.

  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding where necessary.

  • Perform light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

  • Offer companionship and emotional support to service users.

  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions.

  • Work collaboratively with other professionals including nurses, doctors, and family members.

  • Follow all safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety procedures.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential - full training will be provided.

  • A genuine passion for helping others and a caring nature.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • Must be willing to travel between clients' homes - a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.

Qualifications & Checks:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards)

  • The Care Certificate (preferred or training provided)

  • Enhanced DBS check (required)

  • Right to work in the UK
