Job Title: General Manager - Contract Catering

General Manager Remuneration and Benefits:

Our client, a global leader in Contract Catering, with a key focus on diversity, seeks a General Manager to lead a dynamic team at a flagship defence site, with multiple outlets. As General Manager you will have responsibility for all aspects of multi-faceted catering operations. The role is focussed on managing effective and lasting client relationships, in a commercial manner, while ensuring the delivery of key financial targets and exceptional service.

General Manager Responsibilities:

* Lead and drive the strategy of growth and retention of new and existing business in each sector through leading the development of long-term account plans, including a rolling lifecycle review process
* Drive the sales team to develop financially sound bids and proposals and sign off final agreements to ensure we deliver operationally sound contracts
* Implement senior client review process to identify additional sales/service opportunities
* Communicate strategy to the team and ensure that improvements are implemented to maximise performance and customer satisfaction
* Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Provide operational insight alongside strategic marketing plans to grow sales/services and deliver customer satisfaction
* Manage labour costs above budget to client through policies in place
* Challenge and continually review labour structures and ratios
* Review trends and adjusting consumable budgets accordingly
