Location: Tokers Green, Berkshire
Salary: £11.72ph - £12.53ph (actual annual salary = £20,941 - £22,388 per year) Dependant on experience and qualifications
Hours:Full time or part time permanent position - Monday to Friday, Term time only.
We are currently looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assiustants to join an newly opened provision, working alongside the Education Team to aid the smooth running of the school.
Therole:
Based in Berkshire the school support students aged 6 -16 with a diagnosis of Autism spectrum disorder, moderate to Severe Learning needs and associated difficulties, who require an individualised, specialist approach.

Key Duties::
- To support teachers in all areas of the day to day running of the class seeking guidance and advice when required
- Working alongside a class team to deliver purposeful and meaningful educational experiences for children and young people with a diagnosis of Autism spectrum and severe/moderate learning difficulties.
- Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students according to the schools policies, including safeguarding.
Qualifications:
- A good standard of standard of English, Maths and communication
Knowledge and Experience:
- Relevant knowledge and experience of pupils with SEN relevant to Provision
- Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
- Experience of managing a range of approaches to behaviour, including managing behaviour that challenges.
- Experience working within education is advantageous
- Experience of working within a multi-cultural, inclusive setting
