We are seeking a Data Analyst for a 3-month secondment to assist with data gathering and cleansing in preparation for the implementation of a new HR MIS/payroll system. This role is ideal for someone with strong data analysis experience and excellent Excel skills, who is ready to contribute to a significant project within an educational trust.
Day-to-day of the role:- Collaborate closely with the project lead to understand data requirements for the new HR MIS/payroll system.
- Gather necessary data from various sources within the school system.
- Perform data cleansing to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data.
- Assist in the analysis of data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and documentation on the data cleansing process and findings.
- Work with the HR and IT departments to ensure data integrity and alignment with system requirements.
- Provide support in the migration of cleansed data to the new system.
- Proven experience in data analysis and handling large datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and macros).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in HR systems or payroll data management is advantageous but not essential.
