Our client are a professional services firm, Looking for a dynamic HR Manager to lead its operational HR function. With a presence in multiple UK locations, this firm offers a stimulating environment with diverse clients and a commitment to professional development.

About the Role:

As HR Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the generalist HR team, ensuring alignment with business strategy and best practice. You will collaborate closely with the HR Director and Heads of Resourcing, Employee Engagement, and Learning & Development to deliver a cohesive approach to operational plans. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing, coaching, and developing the HR team.
  • Providing a proactive HR business partnering service to partners and managers.
  • Managing complex employee relations casework.
  • Overseeing the Performance Development Review (PDR) process, including implementing a new online system.
  • Developing the firm's HR analytics strategy and reporting to the Executive Board.
  • Managing the research, design, and implementation of firm policies.
  • Managing the HR operational budget and annual HR events.
  • Providing advice and guidance on all ER matters, including complex investigations.
  • Contributing to succession planning and graduate recruitment.
  • Contributing to compensation and benefits reviews, including working to minimize the gender pay gap and implementing a flexible benefits platform.
  • Supporting D&I and CSR initiatives.

Person Specification:

  • Knowledge/Qualifications: Degree educated with CIPD Level 7. Excellent IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Experience: Previous experience at Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager level, preferably within legal or other professional services sectors.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and team player skills.
    • Sound judgement and ability to think on their feet.
    • Strong administrative skills and ability to prioritize.
    • Resilient and flexible.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Methodical approach to administration.
    • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workload.
