About the Job

As an HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle. The role encompasses various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, policy development, and supporting strategic initiatives. My client is looking for someone that has come from a background in law or professional services. 

Duties will include:

  • Advising managers and employees on HR matters while aligning with organisational objectives.
  • Managing absence cases and supporting employee well-being initiatives.
  • Designing and updating HR policies in line with legislative and organisational needs.
  • Leading employee engagement activities to uphold organisational values.
  • Providing end-to-end support on employment relations, including grievance and disciplinary procedures.
  • Partnering with hiring managers for recruitment and succession planning efforts.
  • Managing parental leave processes and contributing to compensation reviews.
  • Supporting HR projects, including diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher and have experience in an HR Advisor role, ideally within professional services. They should possess excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure. Resilience, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
