About the Client

An opportunity to join this incredible organisation in central Reading.  This is a respected organisation and they have a small and friendly HR team that you will work within. To be considered for the role you will need to be CIPD qualified, have a masters in HR or have studied Business or Psychology. You will have 3-5 years HR generalist experience in various industries and have a passion for HR! My client is looking for someone who has dealt with the employee life cycle, good understanding of employment law, prepared complex payroll and has managed ER cases. 

About the Job

Duties will include:

  • Managing the HR inbox
  • Managing the day to day recruitment activities 
  • Preparing monthly payroll changes 
  • Supporting Head of HR with ER issues advice and guidance 
  • Leading on all EAP activities including queries, How to use sessions, promotion of services via poster and email campaigns
  • Producing quarterly reports
  • Supporting Head of HR with L&D needs using data available from a recent skills audit / gap analysis
  • Creating L&D support documentation 
  • Arranging on site pension days / drop in sessions with broker
  • Drafting monthly HR internal staff newsletter submission
About the Successful Applicant To be considered for the role you will need to have CIPD, a masters in HR or have studied Business or Psychology. You will have 3-5 years HR generalist experience in various industries and have a passion for HR! My client is looking for someone who has managed ER cases, preparing payroll and a good understanding of employment law. You will be able to multi task, to be a proactive individual who is creative and is good with people!
