About the Job

The HR Advisor will oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring policies and practices align with the organisation’s strategy and industry best practices. You will collaborate with key HR colleagues and provide expert guidance on generalist HR matters, including people management and development.

Duties will include:
  • Reviewing and improving administrative HR processes and ensuring team collaboration.
  • Providing HR business partnering services to support informed decision-making on retention, absence, and performance.
  • Implementing HR initiatives and aligning policies with legislative changes and business objectives.
  • Managing employee relations, including performance reviews, disputes, and maternity/paternity support.
  • Supporting annual HR events such as salary reviews, promotions, and practising certificate renewals.
  • Conducting annual benefit reviews to ensure market competitiveness and supporting gender pay gap initiatives.
About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or above, with prior experience in a similar HR Advisor role within the legal or professional services sectors. Strong IT skills, excellent communication, resilience, and the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines are essential.
