Japanese speaking Global Mobility SpecialistRef: YC 45956A major Japanese manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Japanese speaking Global Mobility Specialist to work in their HR team at their office in the western outskirts of London.In this role you will be responsible for the operations of managing expats from Japan, and from across EuropeThe role will suit someone who is fluent in both Japanese and English, well-organised and motivated to learn, in a fast-paced and cross-cultural environment

-------------------------------------------Eligible applicants:- (O) Eligible visa: Permanent residence, Spouse, Partner- (X) NOT eligible: Student visa, Requiring visa sponsorshipVisa support: No -------------------------------------------TYPE: Permanent, full-timeWORKING HOURS: 8:00-16:00 from Monday to Thursday, 8:00-13:00 on Friday *Flexible time availableSALARY: £38k - 43k depending on experience, plus good benefitsSTART: ASAPLOCATION: BerkshireGlobal Mobility Specialist Main Responsibilities:• Manage expatriation processes, onboarding, assignment, and repatriation operational processes

• Apply for expats Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), Tier 2 General, and visa extensions

• Provide welfare support for Japanese and European expats and their families

• Manage all housing matters for the expats (e.g. Support house search, closing housing contract, negotiation with the landlord, process payment etc)

• Manage the expats’ expense claims process

• Support the expat’s tax & NI matters, working with external tax advisor

• Support UK Immigration Sponsor duties and audit

• Liaise with HM for expat’s policy, payroll, tax and welfare matters

• Updating the in-house system and internal information

• Keeping up to date about immigration matters for all required countries for inbound and outbound employees

• Manage monthly payroll run for European expats

• Liaise with local HR Managers at destination country as necessary

• Define, prepare and monitor the annual expatriates’ budget, comparison actual cost, statutory account report• Global Mobility Specialist Ideal Candidate:

<Essential>• Business level of fluency in both Japanese and English

• Ability to undertake analytical work with good numerical skills

• Ability to interact well with people at all levels within the organisation with excellent communication skills (written and spoken)

• Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel)

• Well-organised and motivated to learn

• High attention to detail is essential

• Comfortable working in a fast paced international business with matrix structures, understanding of cross-culture differences and management practices highly desirable

• Works well under pressure and tight deadlines; planning and prioritising time efficiently whilst maintaining quality

<Desirable>

• Strong team player with an enthusiastic, Can-Do approach

• Previous experience in global mobility

• Understanding of immigration rules, regulation, and requirements

• Understanding of UK payroll and tax regulation

• Project management skills with multiple stakeholders’ management experience

• GMS-T Qualified professional is an advantage

• Additional European language is an advantage
