This is an exciting time to join this well-established company as they continue to grow their workload and expand their customer base.About the Role:We’re seeking a Product Support Engineer with a passion for technical problem-solving and customer support. In this role, you will provide crucial pre- and post-sales support for our T&M equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, power supplies, waveform generators, multimeters, and EMC equipment. Your expertise will be key in assisting our customers and ensuring equipment is in top condition.Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer technical support for customers via phone and email on a range of T&M equipment
  • Accurately document and report all repair activities
  • Prepare initial repair evaluations and provide quotations
  • Complete and maintain repair and test reports
  • Liaise with manufacturers to resolve faults
  • Calibrate equipment to national standards and coordinate third-party UKAS/17025 calibrations
  • Perform board-level repairs
  • Maintain lab area for health and safety, ensuring all equipment is calibrated
  • Attend UK exhibitions and trade fairs to showcase our equipment
  • Participate in overseas training courses to stay up to date on product knowledge
  • Conduct on-site customer visits for multi-equipment calibrations
  • Host customers in our demonstration room for training and support
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum Qualification: HNC in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Python (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
