About the Role:We are looking for a hands-on, technically skilled Data Center Technician to join our mission-critical operations team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in hardware and network support, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective on-site technical support, including break-fix tasks across hardware, networks, cabling, and rack deployments.

  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of production server hardware and software.

  • Respond to and resolve technical issues through a structured ticketing system-prioritizing, escalating, and clearing blockers as needed.

  • Support site planning, system upgrades, and structured cabling installation.

  • Perform system board-level repairs and diagnostics, meeting defined SLAs.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical departments (e.g. networking, compliance, operations).

  • Engage in planning and commissioning of new rack positions and white space infrastructure.

  • Ensure all internal reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner using designated tools.

Shift & Availability Requirements:

  • Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule is required.

  • A valid driving license is essential, as you must be able to reach the data center within 60 minutes when on call.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a data center, IT support, or infrastructure environment.

  • Strong understanding of server hardware, cabling, and networking fundamentals.

  • Experience working within a ticket-based support system.

  • Ability to follow compliance and change management protocols.

  • Comfortable working independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary team.
