My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Digital & IT Operations Lead on a Contract basis.
The role will ensure the efficient and effective operational coordination, integration and performance management of the ICT estate through operational and supplier management.
Local Authority experience is essential.
About the role:
Based in Greater London (Hybrid):
- The council IT services currently run through 3 managed services suppliers for End User workspace, network management, hosting and unified communication.
- Pick up and manage the operational relationship between these suppliers, a service delivery manager, and an applications support team.
- Be accountable for the operational service function, through the management of contract performance and the service collaboration framework, setting and evaluating against contract service level requirements
About you:You will have the following experiences:
- Previous experience of managing an IT Operations Team in a Local Authority context.
- Deep technical ICT knowledge.
- Experience of managing technology stack in a local government environment.
- Experience of managing multiple suppliers of IT service delivery.
What's on offer:
- Salary: £500 per day, inside IR35
*negotiable based on experience
