Reed Public Sector is looking for a highly skilled Programme Manager to oversee the re-procurement of several key digital and IT services. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building skills. Here are the key points:

Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Industry Trends: Analyze data to identify trends and devise long-term strategies.
  • Vendor Management: Develop exit strategies for underperforming vendors and foster relationships to improve pricing and service quality.
  • Product Positioning: Ensure product categories are positioned to maximize value for money.
  • Collaboration: Work with in-house teams and other councils to determine competitive pricing and collaborate with vendors.
  • Budget & KPIs: Assist in revenue budget profiling and define key performance indicators.
  • Negotiations: Lead negotiations to add value through social value and digital inclusion.
  • Governance: Design and implement supply chain governance, ensuring compliance with council policies.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of public procurement regulations.
  • Skills: Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and MS Office. Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills are essential.
  • Rate & Duration: Circa £500.00 per day, inside IR35, with a hybrid work model (office presence once a week) for a duration of 9 to 12 months.
