We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Engineer for an IT Support Business South of Reading. This role is a great opportunity to work with a broad range of IT support, including helpdesk systems, remote monitoring, patching, cloud services and telephone systems. Day to day responsibilities:
- Provide 1 st and 2 nd line hardware and software support (remote and onsite) to multiple clients
- Explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Troubleshooting and prioritising incidents
- Build, setup, install and manage all types of equipment
- Log incidents and service requests and resolve within SLA’s
- Provide reactive and proactive support
- Setup and administer cloud services and telephone systems
- Update knowledgebase articles and client policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an IT support role
- Car driver essential
- IT based degree/qualifications ideal
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows and Mac
- Knowledge of ITIL methodologies
- Familiar with networking fundamentals and RMM and patch management systems
- Knowledge of security concepts and software
- Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
- Cloud computing and network support highly desirable
