Then here's your chance to join our busy waste facility between Reading and Maidenhead, where clinical waste from customers like hospitals, vets and care homes is weighed, recorded and sorted for onward transfer to other waste facilities.
What you’ll be doing as Waste Operative - Sorting and processing waste and loading trailers.- Operating a mechanical bin tipper to load waste onto a trailer for onward disposal.- Operating plant to process the clinical waste, weighing and recording throughput, visually checking waste and storing in the correct bins/areas. - Carrying out maintenance checks. - Operating a bin wash machine and carrying out any repairs.
We have a team of 16 operatives in total, some of whom work on a shift rotation (like you would be doing!), so you’ll be working with different people each week.
