Watch Quality Control Specialist
The UK's award-winning watch service provider is currently based in Reading. To accommodate our growing client base, we will be relocating to larger facilities in Maidenhead later this year, in April.
We focus on working with independent watch brands both in the UK and more than 20 locations around the world to offer a large variety of services including assembly, aftersales and consultancy.
We’re a significant contributor to the British watch industry and have become one of the top assembly workshops in the country. For the year 2024 we have built just over 15’000 watches. With our global network of service partners, plus our own after-sales workshop in Pangbourne, we currently support 50 independent watch brands.
This is a new role created due to an increase in business volume and is perfect for a candidate looking to become a pivotal member in a rapidly growing company.
Role Description
The role involves coordinating and executing the quality control of both our assembly and after sales departments.
The following are the main duties of the role, the list is not exhaustive as we are an evolving business and additional duties of a similar nature to those below may arise.
· Ensuring a consistent level of quality across a high variety of brands both in after sales and assembly.
· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of key interactions and QC notes to ensure effective documentation and reviews.
· Driving and implement solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency of processes.
· Liaise with individual technicians on corrections and patterns.
· Prior experiences (3 year minimum) in Quality Control within the luxury watch industry is a requirement.
· Must have right to work in UK.
Other details
· This is a full-time role based on 30 hours of work per week.
· Working hours will need to be between 8am to 4pm (30 minutes lunchbreak) Tuesday through Friday.
· The successful candidate must be able to commute to our new office in Maidenhead for work.
· A workstation will be supplied.
· Being a confident communicator with attention to details and able to solve problems independently is essential to be successful in this role.
Salary
· £28k - 36k plus gross per annum depending on experience.
