Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to be engaged on a contract basis, based in Reading.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provides complex analysis of governance, reporting outputs and programmatic data to track key activities, plans, budgets, issues, and risks across all the clients portfolio.
  • Analyses the portfolio to maintain a integrated view of the key risks and issues across the clients Enterprise and recommends effective actions to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities.
  • Analyses and evaluates portfolio data to identify discrepancies, trends, exceptions and opportunities.
  • Highlights interdependencies and conflicts between business as usual and the portfolio and recommends courses of remedial action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads reporting from programmes and projects and provides analysis, insight and recommendation of decisions for improved of performance of the portfolio.
  • Support the PMO Service Leads to communicate and build commitment to a shared vision and sense of purpose.
  • Recognise and track interdependencies across the clients Enterprise.
  • Monitor portfolio risks (threats and opportunities) and escalate as appropriate.
  • Manage and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Using programmatic data develop predictive analytics to optimise project performance.
