Principal Town Planner

Our client, an established planning consultancy is urgently looking for a Principal Town Planner to join their growing planning team in Reading. The company are leading practice with a network of offices across the country and have built up a strong client base that enables them to work on large scale commercial, residential and leisure schemes.

Within the role the successful Principal Town Planner will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects including managing applications and appeals, liaising with clients, mentoring junior members of the team, giving expert witness advice, managing budgets and schedules and assisting with new business development.

For this position candidates are sought with planning experience, preferably within a consultancy environment however candidates with public sector experience are also encouraged to apply. It is likely that the successful Principal Town Planner will be a Chartered member of the RTPI and be confident in client facing.
