Penguin Recruitment is delighted to announce we are supporting one of the leading UK Planning and Development Consultancies in their search to recruit a Principal Planner to their Reading based team!

My client uses a creative, dynamic and collaborative culture to provide expert planning advice to major developers and house-builders on challenging and prestigious projects. The team work on a number of existing schemes and have many exciting projects in the pipeline across residential, commercial, retail, leisure and education sectors.

As part of the Reading Planning team, you will contribute to the delivery of significant projects involving strategic planning, development management, and planning project coordination for a range of high-profile clients.

Candidate Requirements

  • MRTPI Chartership.
  • Existing private or public sector planning experience.
  • Existing experience in mentoring junior Planners.
  • Commercial approach with the ability to apply your planning knowledge effectively within the wider property context.
  • Excellent analytical and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
